Nine down, nine to go! Work on the back nine of Banyan Cay Resort & Golf's Jack Nicklaus Signature Course has been completed. All the heavy equipment is gone and now it's up to Mother Nature! Watch as the beautiful grasses grow in, and get ready for play later this fall.

Banyan Cay Resort & Golf, the luxury hotel and golf club under construction in the heart of West Palm Beach, announced the first phase of construction is now complete. The golf club is expected to open at the end of this year.

It is the first and only luxury golf course and club located within minutes of downtown West Palm Beach. With memberships available to all the downtown condo residents, real estate experts say Banyan Cay will be attractive to people who both live and work in downtown West Palm Beach. They will have a convenient course without having to drive out west.

Meanwhile, with memberships continuing to rise, the club has hired a new Membership Manager to oversee all the new sign-ups. Officials say the first half of 2017 exceeded projections for new memberships.

The resort and club is located just east of the outlet mall in the Land of the Presidents. The golf course, which will be one of only 300 Jack Nicklaus Signature Courses in the world, is being personally designed by Nicklaus.

Banyan Cay is the largest development project in the city of West Palm Beach since the construction of CityPlace.
