TWO MEMBERS OF THE CITY COMMISSION WERE ELECTED THIS WEEK

There were no ballot boxes. There were no polling places. Heck, there were not even ballots! But this week, two members of the West Palm Beach City Commission were re-elected on Tuesday.

West Palm Beach Commissioners Keith James and Cory Neering will serve new terms beginning in March because no one came forward to run against them.

Tuesday was the deadline to file paperwork with the West Palm Beach City Clerk to run in the March election. Since nobody filed by the deadline, both James and Neering were essentially "re-elected" on Tuesday.
