Learn the laws that regulate flying drones!
The Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach will host Drone 101! on Saturday, June 11th, 2016.
The program will be led by drone industry expert, Shawn Holmgren, the owner of Palm Beach Drone.
Drone 101 is an introductory presentation. Shawn will discuss the many factors that ensure safe, legal, and enjoyable flying. Topics will include the different types of drones, price ranges, FAA rules and regulations, no fly zones, safety apps, and the various uses of drones.
In addition, the presentation will include a flight simulation demonstration. Your attendance is an entry into the library’s Summer Tech Grand Prize drawing on July 23, 2016, to win your own drone!
This free program will be held in the library's auditorium and is open to the public. No registration is required.
