A new plan to improve one of the busiest entrances into downtown West Palm Beach will be a team effort.

Three of the four corners at Dixie Highway and Quadrille Boulevard have undergone significant beautification. But there's one corner left that needs a serious face lift.

On the northwest corner (pictured above) is a building owned by the Town of Palm Beach. Now the Town, together with the WPB Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will work on sprucing it up.

Improvements have already been made on the other three corners. On the southwest corner is a new bank building (below)...

On the southeast corner is another renovated bank building (below)...

And on the northeast corner are the new Lofton Place apartments (below)...

All three entities are paying to create an artistic plan to improve the town's property to bring it "up to snuff" when compared to the other corners. The partnership will create a committee to develop what is being called an "artistic facade plan."

Total cost for the project: $50,000. The Town of Palm Beach will pay $20,000. Both the CRA and the DDA will each pay $15,000.
