Get ready for another week of road closures by All Aboard Florida.

On the heels of the Okeechobee Boulevard closure, the railroad is moving south and it plans on closing a five block stretch in the city's south end next month.

Beginning June 3rd and lasting until June 10th, the crossings at Avenda Hermosa, El Vedado, Monroe Drive and Rosalind Drive will all be closed at the FEC freight tracks.

The five block stretch is between Belvedere Road and Southern Boulevard, and close to both Conniston Middle School and Belvedere Elementary School.

While All Aboard Florida originally planned on shutting down these crossings earlier, the City insisted the rail line wait until the school year ends in order to minimize disruption to the neighborhood.

All Aboard Florida says these closures are the only ones planned for the month of June, but they also say that could change in the future.
