EXCLUSIVE! Sneak peek at new marina tower and club in the north end

After YEARS of talk and planning, HERE IT IS!

This is what the first tower and beach club at the planned Related/Rybovich north end project will look like.

This first portion includes 132 units and a beach club along the east side of Flagler Drive between 38th and 44th streets.

The plans were given the green light by the city's Planning Board, and later this month they will go before the City Commission.

"We are hoping that once people see the first phase moving ahead, and actually coming up out of the ground, it will serve as a significant catalyst for other projects that will inject new economic vitality into our north end," said city Development Services Director Rick Greene.

This is the first of six residential towers. The entire project, when completed will include approximately 1,059 residential units, 10,000 square feet of retail space, 15,000 square feet of restaurant space and 35,000 square feet of office space.
