Fern Street to reopen Friday morning

The stretch of Fern Street in downtown West Palm Beach that was shut down by a wall collapse will reopen for Friday morning's rush hour.

The roadway was closed over a month ago after bricks from the side of the Alexander Lofts apartments came crashing down.

While repairs continue on the building, Fern Street between Olive Avenue and Dixie Highway will be reopened to two-way traffic Friday morning.
