West Palm Beach Ice Cream Shop heads to ... Kuwait?!?!

When the very first Sloan's Ice Cream shop scooped its very first cone right here in West Palm Beach in 1999, we're pretty sure no one would have thought: "You know where we should open next? How about in the Middle East?"

And when we say Middle East, we don't mean half way between I-95 and the Intracoastal! We mean the Middle East ... as in Kuwait! Yeah, Kuwait!

Businessman Ali Al-Mutawa was so blown away by the bright colors and incredible smells during a visit that he decided to open his own Sloan's Ice Cream shop in the Kuwaiti Promenade Mall!

“When my wife and I visited Sloan’s in South Florida, we knew we found a special place,” said Ali, who also owns a children’s clothing store in the Promenade Mall. “We are very excited to introduce Sloan’s to Kuwait. Once people step inside and smell the sweet treats, we know their senses will be soaring. We can’t wait to welcome everyone in.”
