Everything you've ever wanted to know about Addison Mizner

After Richard Rene Silvin released his coffee table book Villa Mizner: The House That Changed Palm Beach, he has become the local expert on everything Addison Mizner. As commissioner of the Landmarks Preservation Committee in Palm Beach he is able to provide valuable insight into landmarked Mizner properties that are being preserved for generations to come.

Mr. Silvin will present his lecture about the Life and Work of Addison Mizner at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday February 18 at 1:30 PM as part of the ArtSmart lecture series.

This takes place in the Picower Foundation Arts Education Center in the Cohen Pavilion. Using his inimitable sense of humor, Silvin will explore Addison Mizner's dramatic life, leading up to the failed attempt to create a model city in Boca Raton.
