Christopher's Kitchen to open in Downtown WPB

www.WPB.news EXCLUSIVE

Attention healthy foodies! Downtown West Palm Beach will soon have a new spot for all your vegan and vegetarian cravings.

Christopher's Kitchen, which touts itself as "one of America’s finest organic lifestyle restaurants" is opening a new restaurant on Fern Street between Dixie and Olive.

CK, as those who eat there call it, is expected to open in early 2016.

As part of the city's strategy to encourage new businesses and improve existing commercial spaces, the city and the Community Redevelopment Agency are providing CK with some move-in help.

The details - which you will only read here - include $15,000 to help with renovations, and another $15,000 to help with rent while construction on surrounding residential properties is underway. Finally, the city is making two parking spots outside CK 15-minute pick up/drop off zones so anyone grabbing take out has a place to pull in.

CK has been eyeing downtown WPB for a while now. The Palm Beach Gardens-based restaurant was in the running last summer for a spot on Clematis Street, but that spot was taken by Sub-Culture Coffee which was looking to expand.
