Startup Palm Beach is gearing up for its 3rd annual Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest celebration of innovators and startups featuring 35,000 events across 125 countries, on November 16th, 2015 through November 22, 2015 in Downtown West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and potentially other parts of Palm Beach County.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a catalyst for local startup enthusiasts and aspiring entrepreneurs to build products, launch startups and form meaningful connections with designers, developers and potential co-founders.

The week includes a "State of the Union" of Entrepreneur Support Organizations such as FAU and the Enterprise Development Corporation, and a Women in Technology event with a panel of successful female entrepreneurs.

The week culminates in Startup Weekend, during which participants work together to create an innovative product or service to present to a panel of judges − past participants including Paul Leone, President of The Breakers Palm Beach; Joe Cardenas, SVP of Commercial Lending at BB&T, and Chris Nielsen, CEO of Levatas − on the final evening of Startup Weekend.

Winners receive non-cash prizes from local sponsors and Google, a Startup Weekend global sponsor, as well as follow-up support from local entrepreneurs and potential investors. Creative-minded people all throughout South Florida are encouraged to join the vibrant culture that is Global Entrepreneurship Week in West Palm Beach.

This is a grassroots effort to build the tech and small business entrepreneur community and help catalyze new business. If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please contact startuppb@gmail.com.
